History of .:Electrosphere

.:Electrosphere first made its appearance in year 2002, with name(s) originating and adopted from a japanese game with the same title in the third installment of Ace Combat© series.

The initial objective of the website which consists of simple pages were simply to test and demonstrate the emerging web technologies currently available at the time, such as macromedia flash, which currently far superior than its predecessor versions used in the said site.

Soon after going live, the site generated hits beyond expectations, leading to demands to further improvement and better scalability to capacitate contemporary requirements.

The result was v2 “frame” version of the website, a title depicting the principal technique implemented in the layout. From then on such naming convention were used for future .:Electrosphere versions. The actual content of v2 itself were still fully dynamic scripted flash and image gallery.

Unfortunately, along the run, v2 encountered problems with advertisements suddenly being displayed on the site. The webhost finally does not support free hosting without ads, “all good things will eventually come to and end” as credits covered the main page signifying v2’s end.

But the good news is, v3 were already in development during that time. Codenamed “borderless”, v3 features scalable pages which adapts to the client’s browser software. The content includes what were available in v2, plus “appreciation” flash pages designed with a striking resemblance to the original Ace combat 3 page in namco (which was made unavailable dueto unknown reason by namco).

As dial turns and time progresses, v3 became outdated due to lack of dynamic content. Partaking in the blame was a side project with “cybernetic empire”, titled “sector 4″
