So.. alt-tabbing out of the game is easy but the with time it takes to alt-tabbing back into it I could go to the toilet, pee, go to the pantry, have a drink, and wanting to pee again.
Most games like warcraft3 simply uses a shortcut plus the -windowed option, or it even offers the option in the game setting, but no.. not grid.
Aaanyways for any reason of conveniece, here’s how:
- Find out where your GRID’s saved games folder is, usually its under C:\Users\xxx\Documents\Codemasters\GRID\ or that’s “My Documents” for XP users
- go to hardwaresettings folder
- open up hardware_settings_config.xml with a text editor
- look for fullscreen=”true” and change it to… fullscreen=”false”. Done XD
