I’m one of the idiots who got too eager to get the untethered iPhone 3GS jailbreak (had blackra1n, and then used SpriritJb so end up with a recovery boot loop).

But thankfully looks like there is a solution:

I’ve confirmed it to be working and have the ipsw here http://www.multiupload.com/PHQTQNZNHS

Do note that you should make sure that you know how to use iRecovery, to get it out of the recovery mode.
And also a sim to activate it(specific carrier if its locked).
And more importantly if you want to unlock it you MUST use blacksn0w RC2! not 1. the new one contains a fix for the new 3GS

• Get a… netbook. maybe when sony’s vaio p are cheaper, but then when their successors are out I’d probably want them

Currently using an unusually complex way to connect to the internet and more importantly it actually works.

Shortly its:

• optus prepaid 3g (with first month unlimited data offer)
• -> iphone 3g (jailbroken, which lets me install pdaNet, it allows me to use the iphone to tether the net connection through ad-hoc wifi
• -> ad-hoc to my pc’s usb wifi
• -> pc, downloading stuff at 280kbps!!

Well okay its not that complex but it is still bizzare. I could’ve used my n95 and use nokia’s software to connect but this… this doesn’t require any drivers and other craps, all I had to do was setup the ad-hoc wifi between the two.
The best thing is that its pretty much well over one month and I’m still getting unlimited quota =D (and with only a couple of cents of credit left in the prepaid)

So.. alt-tabbing out of the game is easy but the with time it takes to alt-tabbing back into it I could go to the toilet, pee, go to the pantry, have a drink, and wanting to pee again.
Most games like warcraft3 simply uses a shortcut plus the -windowed option, or it even offers the option in the game setting, but no.. not grid.
Aaanyways for any reason of conveniece, here’s how:

1. Find out where your GRID’s saved games folder is, usually its under C:\Users\xxx\Documents\Codemasters\GRID\ or that’s “My Documents” for XP users
2. go to hardwaresettings folder
3. open up hardware_settings_config.xml with a text editor
4. look for fullscreen=”true” and change it to… fullscreen=”false”. Done XD

behold~ my latest procrastination before exams.. which is tomorrow and so far I haven’t studied.

Aaaaanyways, it saves whatever you uploaded to my server so.. try not to over do ‘em.
And ALL of them are saved its just that I haven’t done the script to let ya view each one.
